Hi there, i have a pulse and i have rooted and installed a custom ROM on that, and had no problems...


I have no purchased a G1 and its giving me multiple headaches

So when i got the G1 1.6 was installed on the phone, i read instructions on how to ROOT the phone, i believe i have now rooted the phone successfully, i then installed the Custom MODACO ROM from this forum. i installed it, but when it boots the phone does not move from the logo G1 logo screen.

So then i had to install dreaing.nbh to get the phone back to a working state.

Here is the phone now:

1.0

Baseband Version
62.33.20.08H_1.22.12.29

Kernal Version
2.6.25-01843-gfea26b0
android-build@apa27 hash6

Build Number

Can anyone help me upgrade to 1.6 rooted or non rooted please, i now have no idea if i am rooted or non rooted

ok your g1 is not rooted anymore its back on its stock version., which is fine., now u can do the whole rooting process again ;]., here a link to a good fast and easy way to root without any problems., hope it helps u out.,

if it does not PM me., ill help u., i have a g1 myself n i have been threw the same problem., so dont worry everything will be fine ;]
