Nimbuzz doesnt show contacts avatars?

I quite like nimbuzz but i find it hard to recognize some of my contacts because their avatars dont show up, someone else having thsi problem?

Besides isnt there a way that it displays a nickname? my friends can only see my email adress and also no avatar =/
