Check the Cyanogen Mod 6 thread. Possibly the best Froyo ROM and has bugs on the second post.

There is only fastboot method for froyo for now. Patience is a virtue. Be calm, It wont be long now...

If you want it to be done, do it yourself, if not, be patient and wait for others to work their magic and get us a Fro-yo ROM

Wrong MAC СM6 is no longer a problem! The man with the nickname introkun wrote a program SetMacAddress, which changes the MAC! For this we need to know the right MAC (he is on the phone underneath the battery). I checked, the program works great!
