Orange France Stock System

Prereqisites

• an HTC Desire (rooted or not)...
  
• Have a 0.75 Bootloader     (NOT WORK ON 0.80 Bootloader)

Instructions:

• Download the zip file
  
• Copy to your SD card
  
• Restart your device in recovery mode HERE (step to "Entering recovery in future" chapter)
  
• Select the 'wipe' option and Wipe your device
  
• Select the option to apply an update zip from sdcard, and select your zip file.
  
• When the flash has finished, reboot!!! Merci qui?

That looks well more modified from stock than the UK Orange ROM.

Tried that with UK orange ROM, wont work because the UK stock rom uses 0.75 bootloader and you cant downgrade.

You have no idea, they even removed GTalk...

It's a kind of french speciality, the rom spoiling. On some HTC devices like tatoo, they removed maps and gmail too...

They added their crappy maps program too.

To do this, press the power button, wait a few seconds, then use the volume keys
and power button to select the RECOVERY option.

Orange added a lot of stuff to there ROMS ...
demos, maps, new look and removed a few things.. not so good

I tried the tips, no problem, but when I choose Apply sdcard:update.zip, this is teh result:

Can someone who is running the stock OrangeFR rom please pull the /proc/config.gz please? I am trying to make a backup for my OrangeUK rom and wanting to see whether the kernal is similar.

Impossible to restore my orange rom even with an hboot 0.75 :-(

An idea?
