Guest rovex
Anyone else noticed this. Quite a few apps dont fill the screen. They work fine on the desire with the same resolution though. Some others seem misaligned. Cylon Bobblehead for example has the head offset to the left. Spectralview analyzer only fills about 1/3 of the screen. Is this android 1.6 or something in the drivers do you think?
Guest DellStreakUser
I've noticed this also, I hope someone comes up with a fix. :)
Guest tudorw
yes, especially games, it's not really android/streak problem, it's more often badly written apps, as more larger and widescreen devices arrive any app worth having should get a makeover, try air control for a good example of a game that looks and plays great on the dell :)
Guest rovex
Yeah but ive not seen it on the Desire, only the streak. I guess its early days, hopefully a new ROM will fix it. Lets complain to Dell about it, it might get sorted then.
Guest tudorw
you're right they have the exact same resolution, so that alone does not explain it, lets hope the buzz around the streak leads dell to throw a few more people at the 2.1/2.2 upgrade, although I can understand why they went with 1.6, the dell seems to be a very stable smartphone, it's up there with the psion 5 as a top notch PDA (er, do we still use that word?)
