Sound Quality Windows Mobile 6.5

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me. I have a Touch Diamond 2 clone from China running Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro that is working great except the incoming and out going sound quality is not good.

I received instructions from the seller on how to edit the registry to improve the sound quality.

These are the instructions:

locate the registery address on the phone:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Drivers/BUILTIN/WaveDev/Acoustic] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Drivers/BUILTIN/WaveDev/Volume]

Here you will find two two digitals

AcodecCallMicBstAmpVol 16777477

AcodecRecMicBstAmpVol 17236228

back up the registery then change them to as follows:

AcodecCallMicBstAmpVol 17236228

AcodecRecMicBstAmpVol 17236228

I do not see "WaveDev" folder in "BUILTIN" when in my registry editor program.

Is there another place I can look to adjust these settings?
