I use Yonn's DROID ROM for some time now, but I've noticed that year 2011 on home page didn't change to 2012. Does anybody has an idea on how to change it? Thanks.

Let me first congrats you on the wonderful ROMs made for Omnia i900. I'm a big fan of your roms (though I never used one till now), but as a graphic designer I do love the look of your ROMs. Recently I got an almost brand new Samsung Omnia i900 from my brother of law (he used it only 3 months before he got SE Xperia Arc S), so he give me his new Omnia i900. Anyway, the phone is great, I started to search forums (mostly XDA-Developers and Modaco) to modify the look of the i900. Yes, I know its an old model but everything is working perfect on it. I use SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5 (I love it), and Resco Keyboard and Explorer (fantastic apps) and SK Tools (latest version, great app).
However, searching through forums for software for Omnia i900 I run to your page of Omnia i900 ROMs. So, I have some questions about your ROMs although I'm not a novice in computers and I hope you will find a free time to answer me cuz I'm a very thorough when I want to do something. I have need to understand everything before I do something. First let me tell you my OS version of my Omnia i900:
-------------------------------
Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro
CE OS 5.2.20270 (Build 20270.1.3.1)
CPU: ARM920T PXA312
F/W Version:
PDA: i900JCHJ3/JCHJ3
PHONE: i900JCHJ3
Bluetooth (2.0 + EDR)
S/W: 2.0.3
H/W: 2.0.1
WiFi (IEEE 802.11 b/g)
S/W: 0.4.3.1
H/W: 1.0
Device Memory:
Storage Total: 90.39MB
Program Total: 97.27MB
My Storage: 8GB
Storage Card: 8GB
-------------------------------
Anyway, here are my questions:
1. I see varios FW versions like XBIJ1, UHHJ3, etc and I never seen one like my firmware JCHJ3 (FW for South Africa). Is that relevant what kind of stock FW you have in case you want to install some custom ROM?
2. Regarding the version of my phone (mentioned above) is it compatible to install any of your wonderful ROMs? (especially those 6.5 or 6.5.3).
3. If I install one of your ROMs, I guess I won't have any need of the SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5 (which I have it now), yes or no?
4. After installing one of your ROMs, will I still be able to install any other software like I can now with my stock ROM?
5. Are your ROMs easy customizable? Like: fonts, wallpapers, some tweeks, etc?
6. I prefer dark themes or OS's and the main thing I want from my phone and have to work are: Bluetooth, GPRS (I'm in Europe), WiFi, Google Maps, and some ordinary tools like Office, Calc, Converter, etc. I'm not too much into GPS thing cuz I really don't need it for navigation where I am, maybe for my location through Google Maps, but that's not a big thing.
7. Regarding my need I write you above, which ROM of your or maybe some other not cooked by you will you recommend it?
Hope my questions wont give you headache trying to answer it.
)
thank you a lot in front, keep up your excellent work.
Lots of greetings from Republic of Macedonia.
Boris.

Rom itself looks great, very eye candy. About how it works, well that I'll post in few days of using it.
But one of the best roms I've used was from Sector

So, if you ask me which one of Yonn's rom is the best one, I would highly recommend the one I use for over a month and half so far. My Omnia is reborn with this ROM, even though I got the SE Xperia Arc S, I more want to play with my new reborn Omnia i900 than with my one month old SE Xperia Arc S.
My recommendation for all folks who want to flash their omnia's or any other smartphone is: before you decide to flash your phone, carefully read the whole thread, I'm pretty much sure that every question or doubt you have about any ROM (not only Yonn's) is pretty much answered somewhere in the whole thread about the particular ROM. Do a little bit research before do any actions. Before I did my first ROM flash, I spend almost 3 weaks in reading through forums (mainly Modaco and XDA-Developers) and learn about everything, so thats why my first and my second ROM flashing went smoothly and without errors.

So far I very pleased with "Yonn i900 HS 29020 STD XPR" rom. Very fast, very responsive, very eye candy. Only thing I'm waiting for is confirmation of it's stability but that will be seen thru usage (the incoming call freeze up). Overall I'm very pleased and can honestly say it's best rom I've used

If you read most of this thread you would notice that that rom you are using has that particular problem, other users report it too. My guess is to use the WM MS dialer, not Omnia Lite 3G or Omnia Lite 2G dialer. Although Omnia Lite 2G i think will not couse the problem with freezing cuz it's uses ram a little bit more than default MS Dialer. Try first with OL 2G and if the problem still persist, than switch to MS Dialer and I think you wont have problems with freezing on incoming calls. Build 29020 was noted as a rom which is fast but battery life eater, some other chiefs said that too in this thread, even Yonn himself said that too. See what happens with time of using this rom and just for the sake of comparation, flash your phone with the rom I use (read the post above) and see how it goes. Also HS++ is some kind of an upgrade from HS, many bugs in HS and added or removed programs that causes problems are solved in the HS++ version. This rom i use is a very very batteri life friendly. I'm just suggesting this. How many people, that many tastes
