2.2 is not available as of yet.

to update at present using Windows you need:

KDZ_FW_UPD & a *.kdz firmware


I'm going to try and compile 2.1 from source, might take me a while though

In KDZ_FW_UPD.rar are follow files:
EnablerDLL.dll
KDZ_FW_UPD.exe
LGMobileDL.dll
Windows Enabler.exe

DEU/GERMANY is german?
One of this 6 files is german?

And what do u mean with "different colours"?
Another file = Another colour of the theme?

The different links are meant to be for different providers, as sometimes there are specific features/tweaks related to the network operator.

It should be, as it has a German location code, you'll have to install it to find out...

No, then you can upgrade to something else when it comes out.
However, it doesn't appear that this firmware is working, at least it's not for me...

Why? I don't know, I get an error message as I try to install it, if I knew why, I wouldn't be posting that I was having problems with it, would I?

Just checked, the baltic firmware installs just fine, so there's something not right with the German one...

Ok, the Orange firmware works, but it gives you a nice Orange UK boot logo
You do also get a bunch of Orange specific software and a bunch of demo games installed.
So unless you're a fan of Orange, stay away from this one...

Still no luck with the German one, it seems like the KDZ updater isn't all that happy with it...

Didn't see anything missing, but I re-flashed to the Baltic one, as I couldn't stand the crappy Orange boot logo and the apps are useless to me, as for starters they only work over a 3G connection (no Wi-Fi) and secondly, I don't live in the UK...
