Stock Mail App for Custom Froyo ROM

Hello you guys

I have started to use a custom Froyo rom (DeFrost 16b) and with ROM's e-mail application Yahoo doesn't let me to access my mail box.However it was OK with 2.1 Stock ROM's mail application.I tried to install mail application later but can't be installed it.I must be missing something , but what?
Any help appreciated.

If you're using a free Yahoo! Mail account, you have to set your location settings (on a computer) to Yahoo! Mail Asia to get it to work. That's how it is with the vanilla Android mail app.

You can't install the HTC Mail app on a FroYo ROM, you need a ROM with Sense for it to work.
