Guest JimiB Posted July 1, 2010 Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 With the recent news that 3.0 (or Gingerbread) is set to be released mid October we're not left with much time to get 2.1/2.2 on the Streak and hit the 3.0 upgrade early in it's release. The streak ticks the 3 boxes for required hardware and I can't see anyone at Dell trying to classify the device as "Cheap, low-end mass market handset". Will a 2.2 upgrade get pushed out before the September? Will they ignore 2.2 and start developing 3.0 so we can have that 'on launch'? Will we get 2.2 in September and immediately be out of date and have to wait till January to get 3.0?
