How to find out if my phone is rooted successfully?

Hello,

I am not sure whether my HTC Legend is correctly rooted. I installed r4 of Paul's current kitchen and everything seems fine,

I was even able to add other fonts using the shell and to rename the boot sound files (though it still plays during startup,

don't know why ),

but I can't get Titanium Backup to work (message: Root access => FAILED) and BusyBox installation

fails as well (even though it says 'Your phone is rooted. BusyBox was not found! Install..') with the error message

'The application failed, either because your device is not nand unlocked or we were unable to remount. Please use logcat..' etc.

Any idea what I can do or what went wrong??

My "Software information" window displays the following versions:

- Firmware version 2.1

- Baseband version 47.26.35...

- Kernel Version 2.6.29-...

- Build Number 1.31.405.4.... release keys

- Software Number 1.31.405.4

thanks,

r.
