Noobish question about rom managers custom recovery. I have flashed clockworkmod recovery through rom manager but was just wondering if there is a way to access the recovery without rebooting through rom managers menu?
Also when using the recovery to flash new roms do you have to rename the zip files for new roms  when I want to put them on the sd card? Sure i read somewhere that you had to rename them .zip but might have this info wrong.

You can turn off your phone. Power on while holding volume down. Scroll to Recovery and select with power button. On the next screen with a red triangle press power and volume up and select flash update.zip

This will put you in Clockwork Recovery. If you run Revoked then you automatically boot into Clockwork without jumping through as many hoops.

You don't have to rename any roms.
