Hello everyone!

Right, well firstly, my apologies to the community as i stopped creating ROMs suddenly back in February, and did not leave a notice, i had a lot of stuff going on so, and i got interested in the iPhone (i know, i know!) so got busy with that and other stuff, meaning i had no time to get my hands dirty in the kitchen, which i hope you will all understand

Secondly, it's been a while since i created a ROM plus i switched from WoZZeRs fab kitchen to the osKitchen which is very easy and straightforward, and i would like to thank yonn for introducing me and others to it. So, i decided to play around with the kitchen for about a week or so, i've created about 20 test ROMs in that time, and i've finally created one worthy of release! I will be making more ROMs with different interfaces, but at the moment i've only created a Titanium ROM, witha few goodies of course

My old ROMs were in this thread: JC, MAMBO04 and Bruno Adler ROM Development

Unfortunately this thread is no longer supported by me, i am not sure about JC and Bruno but i'm guessing it's the same for them too.

I won't be uploading my old ROMs, but if any of you want one of them or so don't hesitate to ask me.

Anyway, let's get back to business Okay so i've created a WM6.5.3 Titanium ROM, Build 23569 for the moment. Here is a list of what is inside:

Plus Reg tweaks etc, stuff that's mandatory for the ROM so no need to list it here! i did NOT include every OmniaLITE application, because there is simply no need for all of them. They hog memory and if you want them, install them

Storage: 126MB
Program: 50MB (Screenshot may show different for both)

Please note that the app Screen Capture and Whipe2Snap are not included in the ROM - oh and tell me what you think of that Android taskbar and wait cursor! (The android taskbar is not fully skinned yet so the WiFi and BT icon will be stock white ones, and when you tap the taskbar the overview which pops down is not skinned either, it will be soon)

I'll be writing up a FAQ later once the posts start coming in, but for now, i think you all know the game. RIGHT! Now i need to thank some people :

- Firstly Sector and PaSSoA gets a huge thanks for porting a LOT of stuff!
- Nicklashidegard gave me support when i first started so thanks to him, and he provided me with a kitchen!

I will be posting more ROMs later this week, i need feedback on this one and what you lot want on the next one, and give me ideas, be creative! If you encounter a bug, please post it here. Remember, you can change the theme in Settings-->Home, there are many themes installed there. I will change the default theme in my next build to a custom one.

Oh and if anyone is good at making GFX, i need to get some graphics created for this thread, PM me if you are interested.

ok it's good mambo04 your rom is very fast and very nice
-i like the wait cursor (screenshot)
-and i like the sound  when i clik on the android taskbar
-the  program menu is clear
-scrolling very fast
-pretty wmplayer skin
- for the first time i discover  "sorry i'm late"!! it's funny
-i appreciate pim backup in utilities folder
-omnia lite settings included
-your rom is very fluid

for the next release is it possible to use the russian black skin? (personally thinks better looking ) or some other cool stuff sector ported from omnia lite?

Yeah i may use some russian skins but the majority of them are for apps that aren't in this ROM which apps do you want to be themed like this?

yeah as i noted in my first post i didn't add all of his LITE apps because a) they take up too much space leaves you with low RAM, you can install them if you wish, but i'll add some in my next release, just tell me which ones.

Android taskbar has already been added in my friend and the theme

i'm afraid that bootscreen is not for WQVGA, but what did you think of the welcome screen?

and nice icons, i may include the square ones

Hello Mambo : Nice looking rom. Smooth too.
However, had problems with Splugin--couldn't add/install panels or move them with editor. had same problem with voon's.
Any solution?

MAMBO04, WOW, you ROMs are GREAT    , I see you used older packages from Sector for OmniaLITE apps? You can use my packages in the kitchen .. I port them from recent Jf2 "June 2010" ROM of OmniaLITE ...

Which editor did you use? the problem maybe due to the name of titanium files.. Samsung replace the name from titanium*.cpr to SPlugin*.cpr, well it can be just renamed back to titanium and simple edit to regsitry will fix this so you can add panels easily..

hi again, i was download and install, i see one bug, this
call screen lock but not work lock

Very good work ! One of the best I ever seen !

Very fast and responsive, GpsModriver integrated  

I added Iphone Today 1.5.3 and Office, cause I use it at work.

two remarks : the first dialer pad where you type pin code is not readable (not really a prob) and no lock screen configured on default button.

I also like the black skin cabs. They look great. I would always install them over the original ones. That was until I noticed the huge difference in filesize and hence ram consumption



May I have some info about the GL drivers? Thnx

Hello,

Thx for the ROM i just install it today, so far i find out that

Cons:
- is TOTALLY missing X button in the corner to close aplications, so for example i cant close total commander - need to go File - Exit.

- Then as i install SPB Mobile Shell sometimes i get down in middle that logo for "keyboard to show up"


Pros:
I really liked that DialIP disabler/enabled i dont need NoData now
Seems faster that last one what i had

Could you perhabs include Finger Keyboard from XDA? i find it very usefull

Mambo this ROM works great. I'll post any errors I'll encounter for you to correct as I want this one to become perfect.

Errors encountered so far:
- PIN keypad has black numbers on black surface
- It doesn't automatically download operator settings (MMS,Internet...)
- Call End key doesn't have a lock option (I use S2U2 anyway so it's not a problem for me)
- ...
