Power on Password - how can I prevent it?

I have applied the latest WM6.5 ROM from pdagismo.com so don't know if my problems come from there or if it is a general 6.5 problem.

Somehow I have set it to always ask for a password (numeric PIN) when the device powers up and cannot stop it - it only started doing this recently

From other posts I had expected to run Start> Settings> Personal> Password but there is no Password in Personal. Am I missing a program or something?

Cannot see anywhere how to change PIN either

Would really appreciate some help with this it is really annoying.
