Hi

I picked up a tg01 last week in a private sale. The phone has a custom rom installed and is unlocked. I have attempted to connect the phone to my laptop using either activesync or mass storage but both methods fail. My laptop is running windows xp and the activesync version is 4.5. Any ideas ? I dont fancy having to pop the memory card out of the phone when I need to transfer files.

Any PopUp message when you Put USB via Active Sync ?

Yes the phone charges via usb but I do not get any popups or the usual windows sound when I insert the phone with the usb cable.

Maybe you can check ROM version and download it...
Make a backup off device if you made some modifications...

Download a Official ROM then Flash and try again...

Can you point me in the direction of a guide that would help me identify the rom that is currently on my tg01 and also how do I reflash the phone with an alternative rom.

Hi

I have looked at the hardware info and it is not showing me any info !
The page shows me a list like cpu, speed, ram size etc etc but all of these are blank with no actual info ?
On the software option I get the following

os version - 5.2.23563 (23563.5.5.0)
manilla version - 2.5.20121412.1

I see no info on what rom I am using because the rom part is blank ?

Your rom is in English ?

Yes my rom is in English. I think it is a sense rom because I have noticed the word sense appears when the phone is booting.

Now you have your ROM...
You can find easily original rom on Toshiba Website support...

One quick question, my tg01 is unlocked after it was originally on the Orange network. If I flash a new rom onto the phone will it still be unlocked ? I do not want to have to pay to get it unlocked again !!
