i have just replaced my touchscreen for my omnia 2 i8000 and now have no phone service since i turned my phone back on,i am with vodafone(aapt) in australia,can anyone help please.

Sounds like you have not put the phone back together correctly and the antenna is not connected.
I would take it apart again and recheck connections.
