Guest Igniztion Posted August 2, 2010 Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 I'm starting to get really annoyed by those messages that tell me the phone is fully charged or low on battery. Especially the low battery ones, as they prevent me using the video player (which is awesome in all other aspects). Would it be possible to remove these messages, and disable the shutdown of the video player when battery is low in a custom ROM without exchanging the apps themselves? They aren't present in later firmwares, I think they killed them in the jmx firmwares, definitely not there in jm5. Now you get a new indicator up the top to show its fully charged. No it's not, read the OP again :) It specifically says "especially the low battery ones" :D Though I have to say those popups annoy me (slightly) less than the inability to run ie. Re-read the first sentence. :D I actually appreciate low battery warning popups; they remind me that I'm low when I might not be paying attention. I do not appreciate the extremely annoying "Your battery is fully charge, disconnect from charger" messages that make a loud noise in the middle of the night when I plug the phone in next to the bed. Because in JMx though, it is a notification, I set notification volume to full, and notification tone to silent. Then I set a tone in messaging manually (so emails don't make a sound, and random notifications, but SMS's do). Here's the scenario, which has happened to me recently, and even Paul twittered it happened to him last week: It's a beautiful sunset, your SGS is your only phone, and you really want to get a picture of it. Open the camera, and it won't let you because your juice is too low. If there's still enough juice in the phone, let me take the picture, damn it! LOL. If it means I have to get a new battery sooner or later, I'd still opt to capture the beautiful picture. Batteries are pretty cheap to replace...
