Guest paaland Posted August 14, 2010 Report Share Posted August 14, 2010 Ok, Feeyo, the author of the very good Cronos 2.1 and 2.2 ROM's have been banned from XDA since he did not release the source code for his kernel modifications. I'm not going into a debate on GPL and whether that is fair or not. I remember having to wait some time for HTC to release their kernel source as well. I'm not sure GPL actually states when you'll have to release the source. Anyways I now notice that Crono's web site http://www.cronosproject.org is also gone. Has Cronos pulled the plug completely? If so that is a shame. He has absolutely brought more progress to the Hero rom development than any other. Hope to see him and his ROMs around...
