Guest tigris666 Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 Ok, i've had it with the google contacts app. Everytime I flash a new ROM and I use titanium backup to restore all my stuff, google contacts still doesn't see any contacts, even though the HTC people app sees them just fine. So I tell google to import from SD card, nothing. Ok import from SIM card. Ok now I can see some basic contacts, but not all of them. So import from google. GAAAAAH now i have about a billion contacts, everyone i've ever emailed, even it's random joe i emailed once and don't want on my phone. Thanks google contacts. So I go to menu, settings, don't display contacts that don't have a phone number. Ok now we are looking just about perfect. Get an SMS from a new number I haven't got, but I do have the contact, just not their mobile number. So choose add to existing contact, google contacts STILL brings up the entire list of email contacts, and in this context there is no way to hide them!
