You can update directly. Only you have to use Acer Tools version 3.1, which not check what region is your liquid and if it is compatible with version installed.

Here is tutorial you can use:

And when you choose .bin be careful, because last two froyo has versions for Liquid E and Liquid A1.

I need Greek input method for SMS but the only app I found in market is not working on 2.2
Any idea how I could fix it???
Should I do smt in Language and Keyboard section???

I don't have the answer for how to get greek input working on this, but really you should upgrade from this leak. This leak is old and buggy and VERY slow compared to the new ones. Try this one instead (leaked only five days back): LATEST LEAK (November 5/2010)

i was been very confused about this leak.
is it Fryo or not??
i have the Acer S100 with the 256 Ram (the liquid not the liquid E). Does this Rom work on my phone or not??
Do i flash it via acer tools or should i flash via another way??
that's why I choose this rom...

Do you think that I should upgrate on the new one???

This leak is outdated. As of Nov 10, 2010, the latest Froyo Leak for Liquid E ROM is in this thread:

Edit: Above link was for Liquid E, the mcboydesign version is modified for A1/S100

This rom is froyo but it is very old and buggy!
If you have the acer s100 (just like me) with 256 mb ram, then the given link won't work on your phone.
Try this one, its been  modified: http://www.mcboydesi...A1_PASS_MdB.bin
Flash it via acer download tool, just like you flashed this one.
Also, the link i posted is a rooted bin, with some extra apps already installed.

Hey guys...you can download the latest Froyo ROM of Liquid E from below link:

1) Download latest ROM of Liquid E (Froyo) : http://www.fileserve.com/file/5xutRP8
2) How to flash ROM with SD card

* Unzip the downloaded file and you will get 02 items: update.zip and folder image
* Copy both of them to SD card
* Power off your Liquid E
* Press and hold <Volume down> + <Camera> and press <Power> until it vibrates 3 times. Then release all.

It is used only for Liquid E not Liquid A1. If you try to flash it with Liquid A1, it won't work.

It works well with my Liquid E. Try it to have experiences with Froyo

Ok I think this announcement is long overdue:

PEOPLE, DON'T USE THIS BIN, IT IS VERY OLD, IT'S VERY SLOW, AND IS VERY BUGGY. A LOT OF LEAKS HAVE COME AFTER THIS AND YOU SHOULD FLASH ONE OF THOSE INSTEAD. I REPEAT, DO NOT FLASH THIS!!!

Use latest bin and flash with Acer tools3.1

Then flash a Rom with Malez recovery if you want to move away from stock

Most ROMs have a recommended bin to use...be aware...and use correct one
