Guest martinbrook Posted September 20, 2010 Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 Well as you can see the MeeGo handset UX is up but only with software X,EGL,GLES. Touch is working. Next stage is to build the Code Aurora drivers which should speed things up a little. If Google had not used Bionic we could have just dropped in libEGL and libGLESv2 into Meego rootfs for full speed UX. I've decided that some of these so called performance architectural decisions in the new operating systems (Android, Meego, Chrome) are just a way of locking people into their OS while chanting the open mantra.
