Hello all,

Little history:

Two weeks back I bought Streak from Dell site without AT&T Contract (US).

On 14 Sept I chatted with Dell tech support to help me unlock Streak. After 10 mins wait agent came back to me saying that Dell can not unlock them and I will need to call AT&T tech support and gave me this #: 18668013600

So, I get on phone and call AT&T tech support. Lady takes all my info, IMEI#, Name, cell phone#, home # etc and she says some will get back to me in 5 days. She didn't give me any case#. I asked her how will AT&T contact me back or what if I do not hear from AT&T, how would I find out the status? She says they will be able to check status based on my IMEI# or cell phone#.

I didn't hear anything from AT&T and so I decided to call AT&T today (19th Sept) again to find the status.

Off course when I call, they can't find any info abt me requesting an unlock code. They said they will have to put new request and this time she will be able to give me a case# to track it.

After that she says, hold on let me put you on a brief hold as I submit your information.

Not sure what she did, she comes back and says I've good news for you, I've your unlock code. :|

She gave me 8 digit code and as soon as i put in my Streak, voila.. my streak shows T-Mobile service!!

I thought I would share you with guys, if anyone who has Streak without AT&T contract and wish to unlock it.

Sorry for the long story but might be useful to some.
