Hi been waiting for Android 2.1 for ages now really want to update but not sure what i will lose from the upgrade. Any ideas?

Also since theres no way to go back to 1.6 will it be possible to go to O2 uk 2.1 when released without problems?

Also will my phone still sync correctly etc ?

Thx

Don't think you'll lose anything as such, have a read in the dislike thread and see what people don't like.

I guess you would lose the O2 specific software, but imho it's all crap anyhow.

And yes, of course sync works, otherwise it'd be a bit pointless releasing a new firmware, no?

Lol see your point sync loss would be daft .

Dont care about O2 specific as im on orange but found that O2 left most things unbranded and loved this hope that stays.

Also gessi wnt lose my phone unlock wouldnt want to pay twice?

That's a pretty good deal. Is there a cap on monthly data?

No cap if you take out a monthly "goodybag" that has minutes included and GiffGaff uses O2 network.

£10 = 150 mins unlimited text & data

£20 = 600 mins unlimited text & data

£15 = 300 mins unlimited text & data

£35 = unlimited minutes, texts & data
