Looks like android tablets are moving further into the mainsteam, following on from the Next Tablet that came out recently.

Dixons have now announced two new tablet, the 7" budget Amico for £130 with what I'm assuming is a resistive Screen (I'm pretty sure they'd have mentioned it as a selling point if it was capacitive), 528Mhz processor and Android 2.1 and the 10" Vega with multi-touch capacitive screen, 512Mb RAM, Android 2.2 and a 1Mhz DUAL-CORE Tegra 2 processor.

Both tablets are wifi only (but then that's why mankind invented the MiFi).

The Amico looks like it'll be a waste of money IMHO but the spec on the Vega is interesting to say the least, especially the dual core processor.

If they can actually provide that spec without cutting too many corners (please Mr Dixons don't kimp on the GPS and screen) I could actually be interested.

Certainly it could give the overpriced Streak and Galaxy Tab a run for their money this Christmas.
