Guest cooperzetec Posted October 22, 2010 Report Share Posted October 22, 2010 right guys, for all those who were having problems with receiving messages and phone calls, i think our problems are over. i just flashed my phone with the uk vodafone 2.1 rom on the off chance that it might sort this out. to my surprise i think it may have. i have text my phone a number of times and they have all come through instantly and also my balance notification is back. im on 02 but it doesnt seem to have made any difference to that. im wondering if the baltics rom was not set up properly for uk 3g networks. if other people could do the same and let me know how it goes. I'm also on o2, and flashed to the Baltic rom...texting was fine, mms worked, Emails were synced and received, contacts also, market worked, 3G worked fine too, as did wifi, so your problem was not the OS, probably either a dodgy flash or your settings weren't right, as I am not the only one who's phone has worked fine since flashing, and you seem to be in a small minority of cases who have posted... I gave in the other day and bought an Xperia X8 instead, which I'm NOT even going to try to update. Shame it has gay Voda branding though. was browsing online while at work and got a text through at the same time.
