GT540 Black statusbar ?

Hello everyone.

All over the internet I see people with a black statusbar. Now I'm wondering...

Is this possible on the GT540 (running Greek 2.1 ROM) ? I think the white looks so ugly,

since I'm using a black theme (ADWlauncher with Theme One). I can hide it, wich looks better,

but when you see your notifications, it's an empty space where the bar should be.

Thanks in advance.

The Russian custom ROM has this.

It in the Quarx rom. I have the black status bar and i think the rom is much faster than official rom.

If this ROM supporting Hebrew smoothly than I would remain it.

Fast, So fast...I tried it

:P

I found out about that rom, but I want my phone to be Dutch, not english or russian, or any other language.

Isn't there another way ? :P

You can change the language of the phone, and the locale settings regardless of ROM. Most of the people on this forum are using the Baltic ROM I believe, however only a few of them actually know any Baltic languages I'll wager.

I use the Greek rom, because Dutch is included. The Baltic ROM doesn't have Dutch on it, so I can't change the language to dutch. Is there a way to get it without flashing ?

ADB maybe ?

I do apologise! I thought you could simply download the language you needed somehow. I'm not sure where I got that idea, perhaps someone could confirm or deny this.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not going to take the risk.

I found a guide on youtube on how to do it, but I only came across 1 problem.

I couldn't edit the font color on the statusbar, wich made me NOT upload the files back to my phone. (this would have caused unreadable s***.)

Install quarxx rom & install MoreLocale 2 from Market. Open MoreLocale and select Dutch.
