@Ma7moud:Actually,I don't know :/ However of you could read arabic charachters with other stock ROMs you should be able to do so even with this one :)

Yeah it's quite sad,I'm also quite disappointed,in this community devs who switched to newer devices never got replaced by new ones, like it happens in other communities... But until we're here community won't die :)

well thanks for your reply, i will try it, but 2 more questions Posted Image

1. what do you mean by all acer customization removed ? no acer UI at all ?
2. do i have to flash 4.504b or any other froyo leak would work ?

oh and one more : new market or old market ? Posted Image

i tried the rom and i noticed a few things that need editing:
1. the clock on the notification bar is black on a blue background, i think white would be more visible
2. when i press the menu button on the touch wiz launcher, instead of the notifications icon there is an orange square lol

and still no arabic for me Posted Image i think all acer based roms don't have arabic support, unless they are based on a rom with "CUS4" in its name

i think i should stick with cyanogenmod based roms

but this rom feels fast and much more free ram than GB

What are the differences between the various schedulers? Which is better?

Wow, the 2.0 is very fast for a Froyo based rom!!

I have these bugs:

1) I can't set the sensitivity with liquid settings (I have added manually the sensitivity script with scriptmanager)
2) When I change something (for example the softkey feedback) these changes don't remain after the power off
3) The battery indicator doesn't work properly: it goes down from 100 to 80, from 80 to 60 etc..

Without these bug, I think this rom could be the best froyo based XD

I set deadline scheduler as default, because is the best and it's surely compatible with Liquid,I have some doubts about the others!

1- Have you tried without adding manually the script? It was working when I tested it,if I remember correct :)
2- Strange.. I'll take a look at init.d folder permissions :)
3- It's a theme issue,i'll try to solve soon :)

Thanks for your feedbacks! :)

Theme is still a bit messed up,I'll fix it ASAP :P

Unfortunately,it's an app problem :/ It was ported something like 1 year ago from a german dev who never updated it,so I can't do anything for that graphic glitch :(
I'm also sorry for arabic charachters, unfortunately arabic support would need heavy framework edits, and I'm not sure I'm able to perform those :/

However glad to hear it's fast :)

Dario93:
long time no see!
it is a good rom mod. and blue backgrond for the stutas bar is very good.& all icons is beautiful.
now i test the other rom to flash this mod.
i testing the battery drink......
amm....cannot save my setting for softkey haptic feedback & set sd cache size & the power LED have a problem.
i use liquid settings 1.3 final. it set after cannot save when i reboot my phone. and yes, the battery percent is incorrect.
cannot save my contacts from sd card for phone, not sim card. and u removed stock some apps, but no music apk? i use music pro.
but have DSP manager?  ha ha. is it incorrect for my flash for other rom? i flash from 4.005.05 for A1 256mb.
it really very faster than stock rom.
thank you very much for your hard work.
sorry for my bad english.

Very nice, very fast rom when the recommended froyo leak is installed still i've noticed some minor things.

Where is the stock music player?! not that i use it, Songbird :-), but i was just wondering...
When I look at the usage of the battery, im kinda surprised, because the righttop corner indicater says 100.. very nice.. but it keeps saying it, even though the battery is able to charge and the spare parts app shows its @ 66% (maybe mentioned before)

Overall a good rom, like to see it continued to infinity!

In addition, there seems to be a HUGE battery use... with normal use (1 hour of music) some texting and 30 min of calling my batt dropped from 90 to 23... i dont have anything special running in the background... maybe not as light as intended?

Hey guys!

I cooked this new ROM for you,my fellow liquid users ;) I sold my liquid today, but this doesn't mean this ROM won't be supported and updated! If I recruit one or two testers that will test new builds,I'll continue updating this regularly :) Now let's see the interesting part ;)

Posted Image

- Based off 4.504b Acer's Leak (yeah,the good old battery saver one :P ) --> Flash 4.504b ADVISED
- New theme made by me,based on iNexus port by ondris, with blue status bar
- Brand NEW JUPA ENGINE by redmaner--- See "What is JUPA Engine?"
- New kernel scripts, ram hacks and schedulers (BFQ,CFQ,deadline and noop--deadline by default)
- 3 Launchers included: LauncherPro,TouchWiz 3,Default froyo Launcher2
- Performance and network tweaks in build.prop
- System partition heavily slimmed down
- BLAZING FAST!!
- DSP Manager from Vache included
- Almost every Acer customization removed (also in frameworks),more to be removed soon!
- Nexus One bootanimation
- Cleaned lib folder, more cleanings to be done very soon!
- Minor changes to framework-res from 1.6 version

All the versions previous to 2.0 are discontinued but 1.6 it's OPEN SOURCE for everyone who wants to play with it :)

What JUPA ENGINE is?

Jupa Engine is a kind of a tweak database that is loaded into your system, using a configuration file that is stored in your system partition, called tweak.prop. This file is already configured to give the best performance, but if you want to modify it,you're free to do so: the file itself contains the instructions :)

The database of tweaks is using popular tweaks made by xda devs and some made by redmaner,a friend of mine, working with me with a SGS ROM :)
These are the included tweaks:

-The best ram optimalization by Juwe11
-Kernel scheduler by hardcore
-SD-Read tweak 1024 by brainmaster
-SD-Read tweak 2048 by brainmaster
-SD-Read tweak 4096 by brainmaster
-Noop scheduler
-Deadline scheduler
-CFQ scheduler
-BFQ scheduler
-Mount with Noatime
-Honeycomb Ram optimalization
-Honeycomb Kernel scheduler
-Redmaner Ramhack

Do you want to change the default configuration for the best performance? Nothin difficult ;)

The only thing you need is a file explorer with root permissions, like RootExplorer
Find the file /system/tweak.prop,edit the file to your needs and save it.
Now there are multiple tweaks you can configure: the configuration is explained below:

ro.honeycomb.kernelscheduler=
-Set this to enabled and it will execute honeycomb kernel scheduler
-Set this to disabled and it will not be executed

ro.honeycomb.ramscript=
-Set this to enabled and it will execute honeycomb ramscript
-Set this to extended and it will execute a more battery friendly honeycomb ramscript
-Set this to disabled and it will not be executed

ro.juwes.ramscript=
-Set this to enabled and it will execute Juwe's ramscript
-Set this to extended and it will execute the updated Juwe's ramscript
-Set this to disabled and it will not be executed

ro.kernel.scheduler=
-Set this to enabled and it will execute kernel scheduler
-Set this to disabled and it will not be executed

ro.mount.noatime=
-Set this to enabled and all your partitions will be mounted wit noatime
-Set this to disabled and it will use your normal configured mounts by stock

ro.redmaner.ramhack=
-Set this to enabled and it will use some higher lowmemory killer settings
-Set this to disabled so it will not be executed

ro.scheduler.bfq=
-Set this to enabled and it will use bfq scheduler (not supported by every device so be careful)
Note: don't enable multiply schedulers
-Set this to disabled and it will not use bfq scheduler

ro.scheduler.cfq=
-Set this to enabled and it will use cfq scheduler (not supported by every device so be careful)
-Set this to extended and it will use a high efficient cfq scheduler (not supported by every device so be careful)
Note: don't enable multiply schedulers
-Set this to disabled and it will not use cfq scheduler

ro.scheduler.deadline=
-Set this to enabled and it will use deadline scheduler (not supported by every device so be careful)
Note: don't enable multiply schedulers
-Set this to disabled and it will not use deadline scheduler

ro.scheduler.noop=
-Set this to enabled and it will use noop scheduler (not supported by every device so be careful)
Note: don't enable multiply schedulers
-Set this to disabled and it will not use noop scheduler

ro.sdreadtweak.1024=
-Set this to enabled and it will use 1024kb as SD/cache read speed
-Set this to disabled so it will not be executed

ro.sdreadtweak.2048=
-Set this to enabled and it will use 2048kb as SD/cache read speed
-Set this to disabled so it will not be executed

ro.sdreadtweak.4096=
-Set this to enabled and it will use 4096kb as SD/cache read speed
-Set this to disabled so it will not be executed

ro.boot.zipalign=
-Set this to enabled and it will zipalign your apps during boot
-Set this to disabled so it will not be executed

Note: All information is also stored on your sdcard after installation /sdcard/JupaEngine.html

All the credits of JUPA ENGINE goes to redmaner!! Please don't steal his work without his permission!
