A random question.. since the resolution on the Streak is same, shouldn't the menu occupy the same amount of place? I mean on the Streak in that screenshot the about phone menu takes around 80% of the whole screen, while in my G2 I have to scroll up and down.. shouldn't it be the same on both? Or am I missing something?

If you changed the lcd density setting in your build.prop you could make the menu smaller/larger I think.

Yeah, the Streak defaults to 160; a lot of the smaller devices are around 200-240. They can't fit as much info on the screen with that setting, so you have to scroll. On the Streak, that setting makes the fonts and buttons HUGE.

Hey Paul, we have 2 out of 3 things in common... A Dell Streak, RokR HD, and the only thing left is the Build number 10688 to make it 3 for 3. :)

jk

If you bricked your Streak then thats the last time I'm testing 'untested' processes on my Streak. (ie. Metamorphing N1 ROMs) :S

Paul, can you tell us if it still has the dell customizations on the top bar? i've come to really like it compared to the normal slide down for notifications. I know its gonna have "stage ui" which is more or less just widgets.

As I see from the screenshot it has the original Froyo taskbar thanks god!

BTW what is terribly wrong on this screenshot? I don't see anything wrong!?

we can fix it...

Paul check your PM

10688 is buggy btw :) (so i've been told :cough :cough)

Agreed. The ringtone selection bug is annoying, at least until you open the volume menu and hit ok. Lol

I do like where the ofw is headed.
