Hello everyone . OMNIA i900 is still alive and kicking :)
Right ...I like to thank Yonn for his nice kitchen ..
THanks to ElCondor from Xda for his CGT black theme
And thanks to Steff195 for the roms he has cooked .. ( i enjoyed it alot )

Righty .. I have been around this forum for along time... ever since i got my omnia...bout 2 years back..
I like to thank the community for all the help that was provided.

To show my appreciation , i have cooked a rom for everyone to enjoy..

NEW ROM
ROM : OmniaLite Touch ROM
WM BUILD : 29007
RAm Usage after 1 hour 42.97 used / 95.54
Storage free ..97.5 mb /122.87mb

A little known fact: RAM not used is wasted RAM... hence , i tried my best to optimize RAM usage...

Added bt fix .. please test it out ( i have no external bt devices to test it out on )
Added Arkswitch with a nice theme
Added utask in favour of e native showcase
Theme : windows 7 metro theme ( not set by default)
NOte : by default finger suite you see does not start up automatically.. configurations of utask have not been set .. please set it yourself after flashing the rom

As requested , i have created an ultra light rom.. i have removed netcf ... media files ..themes .flash codec and etc etc etc ...
I have not tested it yet.. and will not test it ... USE IT AT UR OWN RISK... recommanded for advanced users...

Man, THUMS UP, awesome job.

Would it be possible to release the cab of the repaired JINBOX for everyone to use regardless of their ROM? That would just be even more awesome if you did that. :)

Just no more memory left...after install SPB programs,s2u2..only 35 M left
so can't run too much #3 part programs!
Maybe you can make it lighter!
Thanks!

Updated the Omnia Lite rom to V2 .. Includes a dialer skin now.. ( maan the WM default skin looked ugly... :) )

apart from that , i might make a light ROM . However , there are still a few issues bugging me about light roms... Stability and looks .. LoL

Personally , i would go for Stability first . followed by looks and memory consumption ... ohwells...

But glad ya enjoyed the rom :)

You should look for stability first, memory consumption and then looks... These roms are the most popular!

Tried your rom for couple days, everything was fine!
But I don't know why,as the same problem it happened before when I fresh my device with some simple chinese
rom.
After fresh your rom they get a folder name "mach2003".
I don't like anything unknown in my device or computer.
So I quit the rom....sorry!

Hey snow.

I tried your Jinbox cab, but it seems I am not able to install it - I tried both My storage and Device, even redownloaded the cab in case I may have gotten corrupted file, but in each case Omnia reports that the program cannot be installed (or, to be more exact, that the installation was unsuccesful).

I am using Yonn's new ROM from 5/11/2010, if that will help ya in any way.

Thx snow, i have flashed your ROM and i like that everything is finger-friendlier (most app replaced with LITE). So far so good keep cookin man! B)
how can i add japanesse font? most of my music is in jappanese name and in your ROM its replaced with square.
