Hello World!

Do you like StarTrek?
Do you like Titanium because of its less ressource consumption?
Do you get rid of SPB, WAD or other surfaces?

Here is the Answer:

T LCARS v1.0 (powered by JHML's great JMLToday!)

(the Graphic is much better than in this preview!)

Installation:

You have to use a ROM which supports Titanium & you have to disable WidgetPlus to use this Skin!

The installation seems to be long and difficult, but it's easy to do if you follow the instructions step by step! So let's start!

Step 0)
Download the following Apps:
- Showaco CHomeEditorV1.6.cab >> DOWNLOAD <<
- JMLPanexV2.70.cab >> DOWNLOAD <<
- JMLTodayV5.90.cab >> DOWNLOAD <<
- T_LCARSv1.0.zip (Attachment)
=> Unzip T_LCARSv1.0.zip and copy all you downloaded to DEVICE or STORAGE CARD

Step 1)
- Go to "Start\Settings\Today" und uncheck all Boxes under "Items"
=> Now you should have nothing left on your TodayScreen

Step 2)
- Install JMLPanexV2.70.cab to DEVICE

Step 3)
- Install JMLTodayV5.90.cab to DEVICE

Step 4)
- Install CHomeEditor v1.6 to DEVICE
- Open this Editor under "Start\Utilities\CHome Editor"
=> In the left blue Box you can see all enabled Plugins for Titanium
- Disable all Plugins except JMLToday (HowTo: The right small blue Box is a PullDownMenu - click on this entry you want to disable and confirm with OK)
=> Now the left Box should only show JMLToday
- click "Save Order" and confirm with OK

Step 5)
- Copy the Folder "T_LCARSv1.0" to "\Program Files\JML Today\skins"
- Copy the file "JMLToday.ini" to "\Program Files\JML Today
- Copy the file "LCARSGTJ3.ttf" to "\Windows\Fonts"

Step 6)
- Reactivate Titanium under "Start\Settings\Today\Items" and enable "Windows Default"
=> Your TodayScreen should show "Install JMLToday V5.90" and the softkeys "Contacts" and "Install"
- Click the Softkey "Install"
=> The App JMLToday is unzipping and installing itself - please wait until it asks you to choose your skin
- Choose "T_LCARSv1.0" and click OK
- Confirm installing "T_LCARSv1.0"

Step 7)
- Enjoy your new Titanium Skin!

Q: Sometimes the Layout of the Skin is flickering and the Buttons are not at the position as they should be
A: Simply switch to Page "Home", click "Menu => Refresh Titanium"

Q: The Home-Button of Navigation-List doesn't work in Landscape
A: It does - but only with a long click (for now)

S: Install Fixpack V5.92: Download FixPack v5.92 and unzip/overwrite all to "\Program Files\JMLToday"

I'm using the same .plg for Portrait & Landscape.. I adjusted all settings I did for 480x800 once again for 800x480 in the same file. But unfortunately I already had this bug with your 3.0 theme as well...
Let's chat about it - would like to know more about this!

i m thinking everybody who is little bit trekkies positive is extremly havy happy from your work!

only one think which missing me is start menu task bar which looks like lcars and free RAM information (without this titanium and with switched on - free RAM before/after)

p.s.: when i ll be in munchen(on oktober fest) i take u so much beer as u wish

Hi Freezy, couldn't believe lacars option for b7610.

Extremely grateful, downloading and will get my hands dirty with it.  I use titanium only, so this option is going to be great for me!

Thanks for your feedback.

Did you check the PocketLCARS Page for such an AddOn? Search under download section - As I remember right, there is an AddOn for your WindowsTaskBar and also Batti, MediaPlayer... available (but only WM6.5!)

RAM information? It's only a skin for Titanium - there is no raise of RAM consumption we have to talk about... If you deactivate Titanium you would save approximately 10MB I think (not depending on this skin).

Hi Freezy

Been testing for almost eight hours now!

This thing is doing great.  Somehow I can't get the weather option working even though I edited the accuweather list and even mycities.txt.
Later I added the entry for msn weather and this option is working on the TEMP tab.  Couldn't test with google weather, as my city isn't covered by google weather.  Map option though checked wouldn't display it. Maybe I need to try other options too.
Another bug I found was favourite contact that I set in, suddenly disappeared.  No reason why!

I am missing out an option of using my program shortcuts in it, can it be enabled somehow?

Another thing which may be improved is realtime battery icon, though percentage is shown, but icon indicates full battery all the time.  

For few junkies, can sound effects be incorporated?

I am still hunting for new bugs/suggestions and will post them soon!

Overall impression, great mod, low on memory and works great!  Congrats for your mod!

I will try to adjust this skin for WQVGA as well - there should be an Editor for this... Otherwise I have to adjust all settings manually (this is nearly equal to develope a new one...) I will need some time for this I think
