It'd be really nice to be able plug in USB keys/storage devices and I kind of envisaged doing that before getting it... Guest Pyr0x64 Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 (edited) the hardware is capable, yes. but it's not enabled Advent felt it would be more useful to just have the USB port as a connection to a computer Paul will probably need the kernel source code to enable USB host mode, but he's waiting for Advent to release it hopefully we will be able to switch between the two modes using an application, or it may require rebooting... The power supply lines may not be connected, thus making it virtually useless as a host even if the software can be changed.
