Guest beelzebomb
I'm no slouch with tech, but for goodness sake, where the HELL is the user dictionary to add your own words in the new Orange San Francisco? The pretty useless orange manual simply says: "USER DICTIONARY You can add words to the dictionary by pressing Menu Key > Add." Yeah thanks Orange - er, how & where might help too. Do you need to highlight a word (if so how?) before this magical "Add" button appears? I'm just getting so frustrated with this damn phone!! Guest slitz
Which input method are you using? It should be under Settings > Language & keyboard under the Text settings section, for example the HTC_IME input has a User Dictionary once you select it in this menu. Much appreciated! It seems after some painstaking communication with Orange, that the software was not uploaded to my phone - it's simply not there; though two people at Orange helpfully suggested not all phones have a user dictionary - er, no Orange - it's in your manual - MY phone doesn't have a user dictionary.. Yes, I gather it should be where you say, but I have no option there & therefore no ability during texting to add my words - sent back now for replacement!
