Guest ClippinWings Posted December 14, 2010 Report Share Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) i notice in DJ Steve's ROM .zips there is a /system/app folder that contains a bunch of apks that are installed when the rom is installed. Can I dump my own APKs in there to achieve the same result? Angry birds, for instance? Would certainly make life easier if I can just load them into the zip instead of installing them 1 at a time after the phone boots. Guest adzman808 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Share Posted December 14, 2010 yes you can & remove them as well... in my (limited) experience some apps aren't happy being installed this way, some are... adobe flash DOESN'T like being installed this way (or didn't when i tried on the eralier builds) there's a degree of sucking it & seeing.. you should be able to delete any fuct up app directly from system/app on the phone (it'll need to be rooted obv) but in essence, yes u can :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
