"This is the first custom recovery for your Liquid MT, based on AmonRa sources.
[Vache is] still working with Malez on a port of Malez Recovery to this new device, but until then, this will help you.

This recovery will allow you to :

- Flash roms and updates (signed or not)
- Nandroid backup and restore
- Wipe data
- Mount SD card
- Etc...

To navigate within the recovery you'll have to use physical keys, I wasn't able to activate touch sensitive keys :

- VOLUME UP & DOWN : up and down in menus
- CAMERA : enter
- POWER : back or submit

To install :
Activate the debug mode on your phone (Parameters>Applications>Development>USB debugging)
Plug your phone in to your computer via usb
Download the recovery below to your desktop, unzip it, and launch install_recovery.bat

Once installed, you can boot to recovery using Quickboot (to be downloaded on Android Market) or a special key combination (among others)."

Err... good question  
I'm not sure, but I think it has no menu, it just flashes an update.zip, if there is one on the sd card.

there is a fault in amonra 0.8, ext partition can not be erased with wipe

In the meantime, just to let you know, i'm still working with malez to get the malez recovery working on the Metal. Hope we'll able to release it soon.

Thanks for the info. What is the gain of using malez's recovery instead of AmonRA?
