About RELEASE

This release is something to do for me, its really just something to play with, In no way should it be considered something to use as a primary device.

This ROM is based on the perfect China Telecom V880 UNI_CN_P729CUV1.0.0B07 ROM shipped the current device, all of the google apps are missing, you can get install them from the addon zip.

Features

• Based on the UNI_CN_P729CUV1.0.0B07 ROM
  
• Removed most Branding.
  
• Removed some ZTE applications.
  
• Removed some Live Wallpapers.
  
• Removed Google Pinyin IME Keyboard.
  
• Reverted to standard Android boot animation.
  
• Reverted to standard Android wall papers.
  
• Recovery Launcher to Stock version.
  
• Replaced USB id, with Stock ZTE-Blade id.
  
• Replaced RIL libs, with Stock OUK version.
  
• Added international APN list.
  
• Added ChainsDD' SuperUser Application.
  
• Upgraded Busybox to BusyBox v1.17.4

This update files is to be used with a recovery boot partition, as its impossible to sign for the standard recovery, you will need to have a custom recovery installed, for example ClockworkMod recovery.



Installation

CAUTION: This update will wipe your userdata during installation, back it up if you want to keep it.

Install this ROM using ClockworkMod Recovery:

• Download the update zip above and copy to your SD card.
  
• Restart your device in recovery mode (turn on your device with 'Volume Down' held).
  
• Use the recovery menu to apply the update file.

Compatibility

This ROM should work with all models of the ZTE Blade.

Upgrading

A wipe is required to use this ROM regardless of which ROM you have been using previously.

Reverting to stock

A stock ROM image for most devices can be found in this topic.

Is there any change with the wifi wake-up issues? That wifi goes to sleep even if you tell it to keep the connection?

(no problem for me personally, I am just interested if the "perfect rom" has another wifi handling).

Maybe some people from China with the original V880 phone and the stock ROM can comment as well? Weird Sun?

Hi, Sebastian,

thanks for your effort.

Is it just me, or is there no keyboard present? When I touch any input box, nothing happens. In all previous ROMs some sort of keyboard pops up. Can you please check?

no your right, there was not default non-asian input method in the rom, Ive added into into r01... tho I'm having problems uploading the thing now..

Oh, i almost forgot: can you check the Dialer, too? When touching the Phone on Homescreen, an error-message occurred. Something with application not installed. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I accidently missed that out on r0...  its there on r1.. I even made a call, it seems to work, the signal bars seem to work too..

I've noticed the Memory Usage is very low 90.35M but one bad thing the Icons are horrible!
