Hello folks,

During the last days I had several reboots and shutdowns on my ZTE Blade.
Yesterday I made an update to Japanese Jellyfish RLS7.

It was fully charged in the morning and shut off at 14.00.
I was not able to switch on the phone again even after removing battery.

In the evening I was only capable to switch of the ZTE only with connecteds charger.
It showed the menu only fpr 10sec. and then was rebooting again.
The status of the battery was full.
But the device is always rebooting and even that is only possible with connected charger.

any ideas?

Do you use overclocking? Maybe the CPU can't take that MHz you set.
Did you installed the AHB OC addon?

no overclocking. only the following addon was installed: Japanese_Jellyfish_RLS8_smartdialer_addon.zip
nothing else.

I think it was not a good idea to put that addon (which was made for RLS8) on RLS7. If I were you, I would wipe everything (data, cache, dalvik cache, etc) and put RLS8 on the phone.

I can do the test with the other rom, no problem.

Actually I can only boot the ZTE when charger is connected, even when battery is full.
Has someone had this problem before?

And as I mentioned above, the device is suddenly shutting down several a day.
No additonal apps installed. WIFI + GPS switched off.
Do others have this problem too?

i had this happen to me once...
i took out the battery and put it back in and it worked again, seemed like the battery wasnt touching the phone like it should for some reason.

i would pull out the battery
and clean the contacts
you can try to put something between the battery and the phone to make more pressure

Well guys.
You were totally right.
It was really the battery contacts. I would have never thought that.
Trying different ROMS since 2 month now and it was the battery
