Selling my wildfire and will need to factory reset it.I take it this will also delete android froyo 2.2 ?

By factory resetting you remover all data and stuff from the phone (a bit like wiping in a custom recovery) but it will not affect what OS is on it. (Theres not enough space on the phone to store a copy of android 2.1 incase you decide to factory reset)

Weird, I reset my wildfire and it went back to 2.1. The 2.2 update made the phone unbelievably slow and unusable, I didn't check if it actually installed properly but I didn't receive any errors during the install.
