My wife has just got one of these phones, but it still has android 1.6 on it and I have been trying to update it to at least 2.1, but it doesn't want to upgrade either by OTA or by being connected to the Sony Erricsson Software on the PC.  It just says that it is up to date with no updates due.

Is there a way to upgrade this, or force it to upgrade this to 2.1 ?
