Guest Nesli
Hello, I´m going to replace my Liquid with Liquid Metal, it is really nice device..But, i read some reviews and all of them marked camera as the biggist weakness of Liquid Metal, worst than old Liquid´s one... ..My question, it is really so bad? Were new bins/roms improved quality of photos? Can somebody post here few photos? Thank you very much. Regards..

Maybe my kernel is in cause. You should ask someone to post pics with default ROM/kernel.

Guest dieghito
Maybe my kernel is in cause. You should ask someone to post pics with default ROM/kernel. the problel about recording i think all devices have got it. liquid metal should record video 720p. watching on pc are 720p but like 480p so is a bad quality of videos. tomorrown i uploaded 30 seconds of movies on my youtube channel

Guest jayziac
The pictures look ok. The one with the clouds being overexposed is to be expected on such a small sensor that doesn't have much dynamic range. What is needed is negative exposure compensation so the bright spots don't become pure white. Unfortunately Acer camera apps don't have such a setting (compared to other Android devices & most cameras). It's important that camera apps don't by default boost saturation, sharpness, or contrast too much, because in those cases it stores less detail in the jpg. Those settings can always be turned up in a software program afterwards. In the other photos it's hard to tell whether the colors are accurate unless it's a calibration chart. I'd say overall the camera is pretty good, at least it doesn't have the "pink center area" syndrome like on my Acer Liquid A1 & some other phone cameras.
