Hello,

there is a way to disable/lower the sound generated with you connect the device to USB with the Debug USB enabled?

I need this because for two times my son waked up because of that stupid sound.

Any help, please?

Settings->sounds settings->volume->untick "use incoming call volume for notifications", edit the volume bar as u like.

Please note, this will also affect things uses notification such as SMS, new mail and etc, remember to set it back to normal after you done ur job.

Hello,

thanks for your reply.

Yes, I know this, probably I've put the question in wrong way.

I need to disable ONLY the debug usb sound.

I'll edit first post to avoid misunderstanding.

BTW: if Paul read this: can you put a choice in Online Kitchen to enable/disable Debug Sound?

Settings->sounds settings->volume->untick "use incoming call volume for notifications", edit the volume bar as u like.

Please note, this will also affect things uses notification.

Find out which melody it does ,create silent melody plus settle in system under the same title plus then will silence.

That's a bad way because then you won't have any sound for incoming texts anymore as it's the same sound (at least for me)...

Actually, I had a bit of a look... it will be easier (and better) just to enable the ASOP option "Enable USB debug notify" - you'll see what I mean... :D

If it's really in stock Android, it would be great Paul, if you could reenable it in your modded roms.

Adjustment : build.prop ........... find local\system

Add:
