Guest JohnTS Posted April 7, 2011 Report Share Posted April 7, 2011 Hi, I've been using the get-a-robot-vpnc app on my HTC Desire HD to good effect. It took a while to get going but with the help of this forum it's now very reliable. A VPN client on the phone is necessary to allow me to securely transfer images from an app which I have almost completed. At the moment I'm using the user interface on get-a-robot to manually connect to the VPN server before activating my app which then does the transfer. I would like to move the VPN connection function into the app. I'm no Android expert and I'm hoping that in the absence of an API there is some programmatic method of starting and controlling an app using the interfaces described in the manifest (for example). Otherwise I'm into further hacking of the get-a-robot-vpnc source. Any suggestions? Thanks John Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
