Guest Ron=)
What are the apks associated with the phone (to get it to work) These are all required. AccountAndSyncSettings.apk CertInstaller.apk Contacts.apk ContactsProvider.apk DefaultContainerService.apk DownloadProvider.apk DrmProvider.apk MediaProvider.apk PackageInstaller.apk Phone.apk Settings.apk SettingsProvider.apk TelephonyProvider.apk
Guest targetbsp
CertInstaller is not required.
Guest fonix232
CertInstaller is not required. It IS required. Without that, you will get certification problems with EVERY apk. It has the process what handles certificates (even built in ones), and accepts them. If not in System, this will cause to disallow any certificate -> thus no dalvik-cache building, no app listing, no apps. Got it?

Guest targetbsp
Learn something new everyday.. But can I ask why you would want to remove it? o.0 I just like my roms clean. :) I'm pretty sure Cyanogens barebones thing used to say it was safe to remove. It now doesn't as they seem to think it's needed for wifi (which isn't the case for me!) Thanks for your post though cause I've removed even more than usual from the latest nightly and everything seems to be working. :)
