When I go to "Software update" and check for updates I get an error: "Connection failed caused by authentication error"...
Does anyone know why and will this interfere with my 2.3 update when it's out? Any way to fix this?

Nobody can update via OTA, simply because the servers are not enabled.

You mean 2.3? I guess it might be available in late May...
