Hi,

Just bought a LG Optimus 7 from Ebay and delighted with it.  Everything is great.

The phone is unlocked and working fine on my sim.  I have asked the vendor and he beleives it is factory unlocked.

I am being prompted to update, but am slightly wary about losing my unlock.  Is there any way of confirming how it was unlocked.  I am not bothered about jailbreaking etc but just need it to work on my sim.

Sorry for newbie question.  First WP7 so not up to speed.

You need to run the update to get the best out of the phone, as for unlocking, when I updated my HD7 it did not relock.
