Guest thh
always if I wait until the LG 2x shuts down automatic (battery < 1%) I cant charge it or start it ... I have to remove the battery - connect the battery for 20-30 seconds to a charger or power supply (3,8V / 500mA) and after this it's charging in the phone. So I think the phone switches of too late and the battery is deep discharged ... It works if I install some tools which switch the device off at 5% battery level. Is this a hardware-Problem or is the firmware/kernel responsible to switch the phone off at right time. Is it somewhere adjustable? I am using FR12 from here ... thanks - thom Edited April 24, 2011 by thh

Remove the battery, plug the USB cable to your 2x and then insert the battery. And question for you. Have you experienced such a problem with stock rom? I've tried to connect the USB first and insert the battery later -- does not work. The charging circuits start only charging if they detect a determined voltage ... and the battery was really empty -- I think near 2.5V I just want to know wether its a hardware probelm or the kernel/firmware hast to detect the voltage to switch off. If its a hardware-problem I should return it .... I know how this kind of batteries are to charge :) I've not tried with stock rom ... thanks
Guest djmcnz
:) Why discharge so low? This is bad.
Guest thh
:) Why discharge so low? This is bad. It's also my opinion; But the X2 discharges automatically so low if nobody takes care -- and I think it should power off earlier.
