Masters I need your help you let my phone alive!!! My phone is only a week to me...

I have an Acer Liquid EMEA CUS4 1.6 used A1_DL_Tool_[intra][single]_v3.100_20091027 to flash the ROM to Froyo 2.2 bin 4.002.02_EMEA-GEN1_05.01.04_A1_Pass_protect_MbD for 256 and it works well for 3 days... Was on my way home from the Mall and decided to change my 3G network to 2G so i could save battery...

When I got home after charging it to 67% i switch back to 3G network but it wont go back to 3G even after 3 reboots w/ battery pulled... so i decided to try the gingerbread leak for liquid mt EUU_Acer_LiquidMT_3.008.03_EMEA-GEN1_03.08.03...

Unzipped the file and replace the bin to A1_DL_Tool_[intra][single]_v3.100_20091027 ADT ... it has md5 fail but as been an avid reader of this forum, i know its just ok... but there are some more files missing the ADP and some with .img which i dont know... it went along well but after it reach the end of amss i guess it was said that my phone was disconnected, checked my laptop - its on working status (not freezing) and the ADT just stucked in there... i leave it for 20mins hoping that it will proceed but it didnt... so i remove it from the USD and tried to turn it on ....

Not its not turning on and not even charging.... tried all the combo buttons here and nothing worked...

I wonder what to do next... log file attached

There should be more button combination for different version of firmware.

you may try

unplug the battery and replug after 30 sec and connect the usb cable

Press "Camera button + power button + column up"

or

volume down + power button

or

camera + power button

or

camera + "<" + power

sometimes the phone will over vibrate twice without turning on, it is okay. you can use acer tool to flash again.

My phone also didn't turn on any more after flashing. This is what I did:

I removed the battery and plugged in the power adapter. After a few seconds or minutes the display switched on and showed that there is no battery. After putting the battery in again I could turn the phone on again.

Then I followed a tutorial I found here (the first comment): the Unlockr

_________________________________________________________________

For those who faced the "death step" or "black screen" and can't get the phone recognized over USB on PC/MAC, here is a solution (step by step):

1. Put your MicroSD on your computer with an SDHC Adapter.

2. Now open the MicroSD and paste "LCR_1.7.3-signed.zip" (use THIS and not the 1.8.2) renaming as "update.zip" on the memory card.

3. Press "Volume minus + Camera + Power" and wait to vibrate 3x then leave it booting.

4. Now the system will get automatically your update.zip file and rebuild the system.

5. If the update don't happens please enable UMS and ROOT on the menu and then "Reboot the system".

6. Now you can switch OFF removing the battery and ON with power button.

7. Wait to boot into the LCR MOD custom system, it will be really slow... be patient.

8. If it crashed try again with the fastest move you can before it crashes on some important steps =D.

9. At the HOME screen go to "System -> Applications -> Development -> Debugging mode".

10. Now your PC will recognize the phone and you can use the "A1 DL tool intra" to load any Eclair or Froyo BIN image if you disliked the speed from LCR ROM.

My Liquid has now the "Acer_LiquidF_0.007.00_EMEA-GEN1_05.01.01_57ab23c1cf32cd66f8b94e4be24993d4.bin" from FROYO on it. If you still want custom ROMs then try to use the superboot with a newer zip update, but i won't recommend you to do it again... it's not worth anymore.

Hope it will help you.

Did everything on the guide.... remove the battery and plugged it when ac adapter and usb.... the computer is not recognizing it....

"Im restless right now but i am planning to look for another acer phone and borrow their battery and try.... coz in the process of flashing it, i wonder why the phone was turned off and the ADT said not connected" I am thinking that the battery is all drained but how come? its 67% before i did the flashing...

If anyone have any advice please express it in this topic...

all your help will be appreciated... thanks and still waiting...

okay look i had the same problem and i thought the same as you do, what i did was to leave the phone conected on usb/charger even if it didnt show anything, at least an hour or two, after that i managed to turn it on and all it showed was android logo, but thanks to that i could instal malez recovery and flash a rom, it didnt Even work very well but it gave me the chance to flash a new bin file, hope it helps (:

download the official firmware from acer page, its 2.1, run it and when it asks you to connect the phone do it, there should be a screen where itll show if the phone is connected or not, there you connect the phone and try one of the buttom combo, one of them should make the program recognize the phone, even if the phone doesnt show anything, its the last resort for a dead phone, hope it works for you

I did this again at the office but nothing works... I wonder how I will be able to wake up the phone to be detected in my pc... I am not sane anymore hehehe... I am an IT at the office im working with and I do communicate with computer well but I am zero when it comes to mobile.. and programming perhaps whew!!!!

I dont have the vibrations came from my liquid or maybe im just doing it wrong.... the combo buttons doesnt have the idiots guide for pressing the combo button.... maybe thats what i need ...

Thanks and looking forward for my solution... I am doing the basic again... I'm lost for solutions now but waiting for the another combo kick...

I have A1 recovery folder on my laptop, maybe it can help but i dont know what to do with it... i know if the phone is detected - i am good to go..

If only I could turn back time.

Either get it to service center or buy a new phone. There is no way to make it work as you messed up the low level boot files (just like you flashed BIOS of other model to your mainboard). Don't waste time on that.

 It's not a waste of time actually... it's another AFI... but I called up Service Center already, if they can get it working through the software tool - 20usd service charge but if there is a hardware problem... goodbye 230bucks... but probably i'll get a new phone whew!

Im still possible on any tricks hehehe
