You could grab one of the custom ROMs floating around here, rickys v3 rom etc.. there's a thread somewhere listing the available ROMS, have a look for it.

no, it would be the same if you have 3 rom on phone and want to flash 3 rom from site, pick something other like v3 or some 2.2 rom

Okay - I know now:


* rename to update.zip

* put the update.zip on your sd dont extract it

* switch phone off and hold the vol- button and press the power button it will boot into recovery

* in recovery click wipe data/factory reset

* click apply sdcard:update.zip

* once complete click reboot system now


But what happens if I brick my phone? / How do I make a recovery rom?

you cant really brick your phone imo, if you mess up your rom, you can always via recovery install new one, there is option in recovery to mount usb so you can always mess with your sdcard and put new update.zip
