Does anyone know if the SGS2 will support bluetooth tethering ?

(It's a feature that's missing from the Nexus S and annoying me)

I can envisage situations where that may be needed, but why do that, when you can WiFi tether?

On previous phones I've found it tends to use less battery on both the phone and whatever I'm connecting to it than a wifi hotspot.

My SGS2 battery survives amazingly well with wifi switched on!!

TBH, the battery life just seems to be pretty amazing PERIOD! lol

But no, from what i can see, i can only find USB/WIFI tethering...

I have just tried to use "Wireless tether for root users"  in Bluetooth PAN mode and it doesnt work at the moment.

It gives an error " Your phone is currently in an unknown state, please reboot"

I've rooted OK so i guess the app just doesnt work (yet)
