hi,  I  edit the ADT to  flash  any bin.


Now  you can  flash  any  bin (include   GEN1  GEN2     2.2    2.3)   by it

also  you can flash  MT  with  MT_bin,     A1 with A1_bin,    stream with stream_bin

whenever i run adt to flash the latest bin it always says "Drive Space checking Not pass...", does anyone know what causes this?

edit: the space it required was on pc, not on the phone. it's flashing now...

Who made the Acer Download Tool?
Its written with .net, maybe it could work with mono in Linux?
It dont work with mono yet, but perhaps the developer can modify it?

Hey, I posted this in another thread earlier, because I've had a lot of problems with my phone lately, but this thread feels more appropriate to post in regarding this specific issue.

Is there something I have to do before using it? I keep getting "Acer_Downloadtool has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution..."

Edit: I dug up an old computer of mine and tried to launch it from there, and it did. Then the old piece of feces broke down on me, but at least I now know there is something conflicting on my usual computer. What I can't figure out is what it could be, it simply won't run!

well did U run it in administrator mode ? used to have the same  issue, launching adt with administrator privileges solved it for me

i'm trying to install t_l_Metal_2.3.4_final.zip

when i extract it, it has a img but no bin or whatsoever

the other method is not working (blocks at sd mode)

so trying this .... but no idea what to do

You don't install that .zip using this tool.

When you were using SD Download mode were you using the .zip file?

no i was extracting the acer_ug to the root of sd

that used to give an error




and when i try to go in recovery mode it blocks on acer logo at boot

Okay.

From that Acer_ug folder there are two .bin files inside that folder.

One under acer_ug the other under the next directory which is acer_xx.

I'm not sure which one you need to flash using the tool. My guess would be it's the one under acer_xx but I'm not sure so it's probably best for someone to confirm that before trying.
