Format internal sd?

So my phone has random fc's on things (launcher, phone, maps, it always is different) about once every two days. And if I restart the phone it master resets.. I've tried formatting all the partitions from the recovery (not cwm, one of the others) I was wondering if anyone here would think it's a good idea to remove both sd.cards and put them into my computer and format them there.. I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point... Oh, and I have already replaced the internal sd card because I was one of the lucky people to have a defective one..
